Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026 · Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tipara ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Tipara Football mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1.
Information we collect
We collect only the minimum data needed to run the App:
- Device identifier. A locally generated random UUID stored on your device. We use it to associate your free-trial state, subscription entitlement, and review-bonus claim with your installation. It is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, email, or phone number.
- Subscription receipt data. When you purchase a subscription, Apple App Store / Google Play sends us a signed receipt. We store the transaction identifier, product identifier, purchase date, and expiration date to verify your access.
- App version and platform. Sent in network requests so we can serve compatible content and enforce minimum-version policies.
- Usage analytics. Anonymous in-app events (screens viewed, features used) tied to the device identifier — through our own self-hosted analytics and through Google Firebase Analytics.
- Feedback you send us. If you use Send feedback in the App, we receive the message you wrote and the topic you picked (bug, idea, or billing question). Your email address is optional: we ask for it only so we can reply, and we never use it for marketing. While the "Attach app info" switch is on, the message also carries your app version and build number, platform and OS version, device model, current plan, app and device language, and the screen you opened the form from — you can turn the switch off before sending.
- Advertising identifier. On Android, Google Firebase Analytics and our advertising partners collect the Google Advertising ID so we can measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. On iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is used only if you allow it in the system App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, campaign measurement continues in aggregated, non-identifying form. You can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
- Advertising in the App. Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob (rewarded video and banners). AdMob may use your advertising identifier to select and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK we ask for your consent first, and you can change that choice in the App. Subscribers do not see ads.
- Campaign measurement events. A small set of events — app opened, free trial started, purchase completed (with amount and currency) — is sent to Google and to Meta Platforms so we can tell which of our advertising campaigns brought us users. These events carry no name, email, or phone number.
- Install attribution. On Android, the Google Play Install Referrer tells us which campaign (if any) led to the install. On iOS, we receive Apple Search Ads attribution via Apple's AdServices framework — this does not use the IDFA and does not involve cross-app tracking.
2.
What we do NOT collect
- We have no user accounts, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or address. We receive your email address only if you choose to type it into the feedback form (see Section 1).
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not read your activity in other apps or on websites ourselves, and we build no advertising profiles of our own. Our advertising partners (Google, Meta) may use your advertising identifier to link an install or a purchase back to a campaign — on iOS only with your App Tracking Transparency permission.
3.
How we use the data
- To provide football predictions and verify your active subscription.
- To prevent abuse of the free trial and review-bonus features.
- To investigate technical errors reported through the App.
- To read the feedback you send us and to reply when you leave an email address.
4.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Apple / Google — to verify your subscription receipts via their official APIs.
- Hosting provider — our servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform; data is stored in the European Union region.
- Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob, Google Ads) — anonymous usage events and the advertising identifier are processed by Google to serve ads and to measure our advertising campaigns. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms — app-open, trial-start and purchase events, together with the advertising identifier where permitted, are processed by Meta to measure our advertising campaigns. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
5.
Data retention
Device identifiers and subscription records are retained as long as your subscription is active and for up to 24 months thereafter to comply with App Store and tax-record requirements. Feedback messages, together with any email address you chose to include, are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to track the problem behind them; you can ask us to delete them at any time (see Section 6).
6.
Your rights
You may request deletion of all data associated with your device identifier by emailing support@tipara.app from any address, including the device identifier in your message (Settings → About → Device ID inside the App). This covers any feedback you have sent us; if you have a ticket number (TP-…), quoting it helps us find the message faster. We will respond within 30 days.
7.
Children
The App is rated 16+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
8.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date and, where required, an in-app notice.
